In recent years, service-oriented architecture (SOA) has become a major solution of systemintegration; To some extent, the proposal of SOA has been solved the problem of integration ofmultiple applications. With the continuous improvement of the function of enterprise informationsystems and the increase of the complexity of enterprise business, Enterprise Service Bus, as theinfrastructure of SOA begins to confront with some problems. For example, when the business logicchanges, the user need to re-arrange the service, modify the main configuration file of EnterpriseService Bus, which increases the system’s maintenance costs largely; moreover, it is difficultly toverify the compatibility of web services which participate in the combination, for esample, thedeadlock in the internal of combined services may cause the system which based on ESB unstable.To solve this problem, this paper proposes a large-grained Web service compatible verificationscheme, and introduces the large-grained Web services into ESB to complete the servicecomposition.Firstly, it review the Enterprise Service Bus, large-grained Web services and formal modelingtechniques. it introduces some popular Enterprise Service Buses, describe the architecture and themain function of the Enterprise Service Bus, with a focus on the Mule ESB and its routingmechanism. In addition, it overviews of the most popular large-grained Web Services descriptionlanguage and study the common formal modeling techniques.Secondly, it research into the compatibility of large large-granied Web services which describeby OWL-S composite process model. it presents a method for automatic modeling Petri nets ofOWL-S composite process and implement a tool O2PJ based on this method. According to theOWL-S description file of large-granied Web service, this tool can get the Petri net model oflarge-granied web service automatically. In addition, based on the Petri net model of OWL-Scomposite process, this paper presents a method which study the compatibility of large-grained Webservices.Then, it researches into the implementation of Mule ESB, especially the Mule ESB corecomponents, component management mechanism, message handling mechanism for concurrentaccess and Mule ESB routing mechanism. it shows the service composition based on the Mule ESBrouting mechanism, based on these research, it also analyze the problem of Mule ESB routingmechanism which has poor ability to maintain and verify compatibility.Finally, it elaborates the method which introduces OWL-S composite process into Mule ESB,by analyzing the interaction of composition services, using OWL-S API to combine the services and using the research achievement of compatibility to verify the large-grained Web services whichparticipate in the service composition to meet the needs of the new user requirements.
