Abstract/Summary:
In order to implement the files spirit of the Ministry of Education on the quality of higher education, strive to better the quality of education, by increasing the hardware of automation comprehensive experiment can better the requirement and quality of practice education for the automation major.MPS means the modular production system, it usually consists of several modules, each module complete a portion of the production task, the combination of modules forms a production line which can perform a process simulation of one specific task of production. The design of MPS is an integrated technology of computer, electronics, communication, sensor, and machinery sciences etc., After the system implementation, it can be used for the teaching of comprehensive practice course, for the students who majors in mechanical and electrical, automation or computer control.The design of this experiment system is to follow the concept of MPS, the comprehensive experimental device is divided into five units according to the process of the workpiece’s supply, detection, machining, handling and warehouse, the five module units use advanced PAC control and fieldbus technology, cooperate to complete the process simulation of the entire production task from supply to the warehouse.At first, this paper describes the background and significance of research, and introduces the specific requirements of the subject, after careful analysis, make a design to meet the requirements of the system, the hardware and software structure of the experimental device is given to realize the plan, and also the corresponding technology route; Second, based on the system design, according to the characteristics of the modular system, the detailed design of hardware and software is given separately, wherein involves the approach of circuit and pneumatic of each module cell of the system, configuration of the controller, program with the ladder diagram language and so on; And then gives a brief introduction about system installation and debugging, something like cooling, grounding, which has an important influence on system working well; Finally, based on the previous design, the paper works out a preliminary project design for experiment, which will establish a basis of putting the device into practice teaching successfully.The main innovation of the system design is the combination of MPS’s concept and PAC’s advanced automatic control technology, and it also integrated into the DeviceNet and Genius industrial fieldbus communication technology, all these make the system can keep up with the technological level of the modern production line, create a more close to the actual production training environment for students, improve the automatic comprehensive experimental condition and the practice teaching quality for school.
