| Among variety of sensors used in maritime surveillance, HFSWR can detect and tracing cooperative and non-cooperative target in the surveillance area, but it cannot provide identity information of targets. AIS make a convenient for the identification of cooperative targets with identity information in monitor region, but not for non-cooperative target. AS they have complementary advantages, track association should be undertaken. On one hand, repeat tracing can be eliminated and tracing efficiency can be improved, on the other hand, suspected non-cooperative vessels without identity can be traced by excluding the associated cooperative target. Two algorithms developed in this paper which suitable for track association by carried out a study on track association between HFSWR and AIS, and trace detection for both cooperative and non-cooperative targets is achieved. The main work in this paper in following aspects:1. In data preprocessing, the characteristics of point and track with HFSWR and AIS are analyzed, data preprocessed for eliminate the Non-uniformity on the space-time between the two sensors is made. First, coordinate and radial projection transformation based on sphere model is adopted to achieve a unified coordinate. Secondly, piecewise linear interpolation and extrapolation is used for AIS track time alignment. 2. In track association, a new method based on mean nearest neighbor (M-NN) is proposed. The selection threshold is analyzed. Using Radial velocity, distance and azimuth as generalized M-NN criterion for the judgment of track-to-track association. The result shows that the M-NN can reduce the false rate compared to NN method.Fuzzy dual-threshold Track Association method is proposed for the complex situations, and the selection of threshold is analyzed. An instance is employed to verify the fuzzy method has strong robustness in more complex situations or singular values in a track. In addition, A Track Correction method is proposed through the error statistics of associated results in order to improve the tracing accuracy of non-cooperative vessels by HFSWR.3. An analysis system is set up in MATLAB environment, two track association methods and track correction method are integrated, original and corrected track of non-cooperative targets can be highlight in this system. |
