Research And Implementation Of Files’transfer System Which Based On Android’s Wi-Fi Direct API

In today’s society, the increasingly rapid pace of life, people’s requirement on the mobile phone is more and more high. Due to the various type of mobile phone, numerous kinds of phones’function, making more and more kinds of files, and files’capacity is also increasing. So the files’transfer in multi device will cause a lot of problems, such as slowly transmission rate, unstable transmission signal, and the deficiency inherent of traditional transmission, and so on. Moreover, there are many kinds of file transmission at present, such as Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and so on, but they all exist some defects, such as Bluetooth transmission distance is short and unstable, the NFC transmission type single etc.. These daily file transfer methods are unable to meet our daily needs, we need to seek a new file transfer mode.This paper through the Wi-Fi Direct API interface of the Android platform, comparing the advantages of Wi-Fi direct to other files’transfer methods, in accordance with the software engineering’s life cycle, implement the files’transfer on mobile device. The following are the main features of this paper:1) summary of Wi-Fi Direct technology used in the domestic and foreign development present, through the comparison with Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, cloud transmission and other file transfer method, summed up the advantage of Wi-Fi Direct for file transfer.2) Researching and coding on Android Wi-Fi Direct API, and applied to the system in this paper.3)Designing and implementation the system discussed in this paper according to module, providing the detailed definition and implementation for each module to achieve the function and the upper interface, integration to the file transfer system in this paper.This paper discussed the Wi-Fi Direct technology in automatic matching, file transferring. This paper not only has a certain significance on files’transfer system of Android mobile phone, but also has a far reaching significance to application of Wi-Fi Direct technology in the future’s mobile intelligent office, intelligent Home Furnishing life.
