With the rapid development of Internet technology and the growing popularity of smart TV,watching TV has not only limited functions of watching television programs. Today’s smart TVusually comes with the Android operating system, and support high-speed network, people are freeon-demand TV programs which they are interested, you can also browse the website,play largesomatosensory games on TV. Thus,the traditional infrared remote control function can not meet therequirements of the smart TV,new intelligent remote should add the touchpad operation,airmouse,motion control,voice input and other human-computer interaction function to the traditionalinfrared remote controller.The main work of this thesis is to design a multi-functional intelligent human-computerinteraction remote controller.On the system design,intelligent remote controller consists of thetransmitter and the receiver,to communicate through2.4G RF adaptive frequency hoppingcommunication technologies.Transmitter is for handheld device,consisting of the touchpadmodule,six-axis air mouse module, voice module,keys and2.4G RF modules.User can achievecursor movement and gesture recognition on a smart TV through sliding on the touchpad; user’svoice input in system by microphone can be sent to the host computer via RF module; air mousemodule is able to perceive the posture of remote controller to achieve air mouse and playsomatosensory game. Receiver connected to the host via USB interface,including2.4G RF moduleand USB module,the touch,mouse,voice and key signal received by2.4G are uploaded to the hostvia USB interface,to realize the control of smart TVOn the hardware design,firstly to determine the hardware design structure,then the deviceselection,to determine the master chip of transmitter and the receiver,and then design the circuits oftransmitter and receiver,according to the schematic circuits to design PCB boards, finally completedthe hardware design of intelligent remote controller.On the software design,first of all,this thesis designed the software workflow of transmitter andreceiver,to achieve the various components of the software.The communications software based onthe2.4G RF adaptive frequency hopping protocol,can better solve the interferenceproblem;touchpad gesture recognition algorithm can support single finger sliding and two fingersgesture recognition, operating more intuitive than traditional key operation;reference ITU-G.711voice specification to realize codec algorithm,codec and decode speed, real-time; based on theprinciple of four-element to achieve the air mouse algorithm is able to transform the data of thethree-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer data into the mouse data,sensing control posture of transmitter.In this paper, we were testing the performance and function of the human-computer interactionintelligent remote controller physical prototype, including RF performance,voice,air mouse,touchgesture recognition and key,the test result shows that the design meets the expected requirements.
