| Yi Lin magazine was founded in July2003, is a comprehensive abstract journal published by Yi Lin Media Group. Throughout the ten years development course of Yi Lin, it is aimed at "Being the China’s most influential inspirational magazine", it’s unique content, and the accurate brand strategy occupies a place in the history of journals. This article tries to text Yi Lin magazine features as a starting point, place it in abstract journal industry environment as a whole, and reveal the magazine Yi Lin magazine features and brand strategies based on this formation.In this paper, by employing editing, communication science, and the knowledge of management, starting from the small points, microscopically analyze the character of Yi Lin magazine itself, then the viewpoint of its brand strategies, and finally analyze the magazine and it’s group is now facing with the problems and countermeasures. Through these aspects, we can be more systematic understanding of the Yi Lin. Including the start-up period, finalize the design period, maturity and status.(2) Characteristics analysis of Yi Lin magazine. To layout the orchestration characteristics, content features and the characteristics of the target audience in-depth analysis; Compared with the Reader, Motto and other magazines abstracts horizontally.(3) Yi Lin magazine’s brand strategy. Analysis of brand culture, brand pursuit, brand development and brand core. Yi Lin use the "inspirational youth" as the core brand; actively build a wide range of brand products, and take the road of diversified industrial group chaine;"from the "digest to the original" is the pursuit of it’s brand; adhere to the brand culture of "a story,change life ".(4)The major problems Yi Lin facing with and it’s countermeasures.
