| With the development of information technology in our country, colleges anduniversities also used the information management system in differentdepartments, some of colleges and universities also used information application inenrollment management. In order to realize the automation of the paperless office andadmission management in colleges and universities, I designed and implemented anuniversity enrollment management system.Enrollment is one of the important works of colleges and universities. With theexpansion of college enrollment and the increase of enrollment category, the students’enrollment information has become more and more large. In recent years, with thedevelopment of the domestic university autonomous enrollment work and promotion,the management work of autonomous enrollment of colleges and universities thatpartly involved in the pilot work has become more onerous and more complex.Simple enrollment management department with Microsoft Office and other auxiliarysoftware for Office of artificial operation way has the problems of low efficiency,poor information feedback and being prone to errors. On the contrary, enrollmentmanagement system based on Web can effectively improve the efficiency, thefeedback, and reduce data error, etc. So, a full-featured enrollment managementsystem which is easy to operate has important practical significance to enrollmentmanagement work.At present there are many traditional enrollment management system running inthe DOS environment. Even some are based on the visual platform; they aredeveloped with traditional procedure-oriented development tools. Since it’s difficultfor such systems to escalade and maintain when the requirements changed anddifficult to reuse, we chose the J2EE framework as a basis to design and develop acollege enrollment management system. The paper mainly consists of the following works:1. The paper analyzed and described the requirements, design andimplementation of the system thoroughly, and accomplished all the developmentwork related to the entire software life cycle by taking advantage of theobject-oriented theory.2. The paper designed and implemented a comprehensive university enrollmentmanagement system, which can effectively integrate the functions of universityenrollment management together, such as online registration, registration ofprequalification, application statistics, freshman enrollment management, departmentmanagement, professional management, students registration management, classdistribution, apartment management, payment management, system management anduser management, etc.3. The system is helpful to the optimization of the college enrollmentmanagement process. The manager of colleges and universities can supervise theenrollment work and can make high-level decisions according to the results.4. The application of this system in college enrollment management has partlypromoted the integration of college enrollment management work and other works.For the design and implementation of the system, we used object-orientedtechnologies, such as unified modeling language for requirement analysis and design.By taking advantage of SQL Server database system, we have designed the databaselogically and physically. Finally, we implemented the functions of the universityenrollment management system according to the J2EE framework. |
