At present, hospitals in China mainly manage the medical devices in the form of reports, still stuck in the primitive level manual labor, and the processing of the devices information is very low, lacking the support for the effective management of software. Even if there is management software, it is the DOS-based application. Device management software using the object-oriented technology which can do the management with the handheld terminal devices is very few and cannot keep up with the rapid development of computer technology. There are no uniform standards between hospital departments on the equipment encoding, device name, device type, maintenance records. Hospital departments are independent of each other to maintain their equipment, resulting in that the information cannot be shared. Maintenance and the updating management of medical equipment using non-information technology are in a non-standard non-scientific status. Not only maintenance costs high, the effect is not ideal. In the rapid development of information today, this backward non-information technology equipment management is not only unreliable, cannot give full play to the advantages of information technology, the consequences are more serious, cannot adapt to the times.In accordance with the requirements of building medical equipment management system to strengthen the information construction, Linzi People’s Hospital want to develop a medical equipment management system designed to improve management efficiency, reduce the costs of management equipment is scientific, reasonable. The system is based on WINDOWS and ADNROID platforms which use J2EE and ADNROID technology. Starting with the application requirements of Linzi medical equipment management system, we clear the overall structure of the system, database design and specific relationship between the various modules. We use C/S architecture as base and J2EE technology to provide services, finally complete every module of the system. This paper describes the methods and technology of information processing and exchange between ANDROID client, WINDOWS console and server in detail.Based on the analysis of the medical equipment management business, this paper elaborates the system requirements analysis, program design and implementation of the entire process. The system includes basic information management and equipment maintenance information management two modules partitioned by system functions. The main achievement of Equipment basic information management module in the console is to add new equipment information, view basic information on existing equipment, sort, edit, delete, print and export information, generate bar codes and other functions; The main achievement of the ANDROID client in this module is to add new equipment, view the device information and device-related data. The main achievement of maintenance information management module in the console is to add, maintain, view, modify, delete, sort, print and export the devices maintains information. In ANDROID client it completes barcode scanning, setting maintenance due reminders, adding repair information and other functions.Through windows console software and android client software, this system achieve three-dimensional medical equipment management. Using two-dimensional code technology for medical equipment management, System has certain characteristics on the use of the technology. The system has been developed completely and put into use. The actual use of the system has achieved its intended goals. The system meets the basic requirements of the people of the hospital’s medical equipment management. It has some features like system-friendly interface, easy operation, and good user experience. More importantly, it plays a catalytic role for medical equipment management with information technology.
