Influenced by the rapid development of the economy in the southern part of Jiang Suprovince, a large amount of sanitary sewage is discharged into the Tai Lake, resulting in thedecline of the water quality; The GP pumps Co,Ltd establishes a sewage treatment facilityfor Yang Wan town of Dong Shan around the Tai Lake. After that, the sewage would betreated before being discharged. In order to keep watch on the operation condition of theinstrument on the scene, a set of monitoring equipment is required to transfer the remoteinformation.Based on the actual background of the project, the working process of the facility isfirstly introduced, and then emphasizes some electrical equipment required for monitoringand their control requirement. Among them involves sewage pump, air compressor, ultraviolet light and so on. Also, parameters, like voltage, electric current and liquid levelare ensured. As to the system scheme, Siemens S7-200PLC is used as the master controllerand MCGS TPC as the display device;Sensors, including current transducer and others wasselected by the control requirements and parameters need to be monitored. The authorutilizes the built-in configuration function of the MCGS touch screen in order thatoperation and maintenance person could see the working condition of all the facilitiesthrough the touching screen directly. As to the remote data transmission, SMS of the GSM netowrk is chose as the way oftransmission according to the feature of the system, and Siemens TC35module andsinglechip as the sending terminal. the data transmission and sending out is realized instep7softwareand singlechip. This system has been put in operation and is working smoothly and effectively. thepromised goal of control has been achieved.
