| In the product design, the design of the standard parts is usually a repetitive work, which would increase the cost, waste more time and could not meet the increasingly fierce market competition. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new general and dedicated parts library.Based on the Pro/Engineer, this paper presents a new three-dimensional parts library management system. The new parts library management system is composed by the management terminal called three-dimensional aided design manager and the use terminal integrated into CAD system. The main function of the Three-dimensional aided design manager is to manage sector, users and enterprise’s standard parts, standard parts, technical requirements, technical requirements templates and materials. The main function of the three-dimensional aided design system is to view the standard parts, technical requirements, maps templates and materials and to design by using all of these. Based on the basic functions, some expansion of functions depending on the user’s needs is achieved by the system. For example, three-dimensional CAD system users can add their frequently-uesed design elements to their own personal temporary library. For the enterprises, a new way to increase their standard is probided by the system. And the new system increases inventory fields in material properties bar to make designers to select the materials easier and evidence-based and the parameter specifications could be set by loaded the Excel spreadsheets on a large scale and so on.The new system uses the UML as the description language and multilayered C++-Architecture based on the Rational Unified Process in this paper. And the whole system is composed by the management terminal and client terminal, including standard parts management, technical requirements, figure amplitude settings, part name and other sub-modules and further subdivided into smaller functional modules system. In this paper, the system development background has been discussed firstly, as well as the current domestic and foreign research on degree management system and appraisement system by using the Internet and web application system. In the part of the demand analysis, the demand model is built and presented the questions needed to resolve. According to the design concept, the technical architecture and function architecture are built at first. Then the static and dynamic structure design strategy and the design procedure of database structure have been discussed in detail. At last, the system is implemented and several important problems encountered have been analyzed.The test and the process of trial of the system show that the standard management, technical requirements, map setting and other aspects of the business functions can be realized for the system. All these indicate that the research aim has been realized.. |
