Research On China's Information Security Policy And Its Performance Evaluation

As rapid development of the information society, the attack to the personal orenterprise computer occurred frequently via various ways. In order to contain the illegalattack, information security policies have been promulgated one by one in China.However, how are the effects of implementation, whether to achieve the expected effect,are becoming the common concern for the implementer and audience. Base on theexplanation of theory for the information security policies in China, this study is toconstruct the evaluation indicator system for performance measurement of informationsecurity policy by analysis of current information security policy in China, establishnine qualitative quantitative indicators.Furthermore, the weight of the indicators and the model of performancemeasurement were confirmed. The performances of China information security policywere evaluated using these indicators and model. The feasibility of the indicators andmodel was proven.
