| Routing protocol is an important part in communication network. Its mainfunction is to find a path from the source node to the destination node. The rising of theInternet of things(IOT) makes research of routing protocols more crucial than ever. Asthe primary protocol of IOT, ZigBee needs a routing protocol that is suitable for itsnetwork features.Through the study of AODV, AODVjr, SDR, MR-LQSR protocols, this thesisfinds they are not suit for ZigBee Network completely. The environment for ZigBee iscomplex, where LQI has great influence on its transmission of data. However, theserouting protocols do not take this into consideration. This thesis proposes a newrouting protocol ZMR-LQSR, which based on AODVjr routing protocol. This routingprotocol considers both the path delay and LQI. It assigns weights to two factors andthen compares the weights of each path to get the optimal path that has best integratedperformance.This thesis simulates the AODVã€AODVjrã€ZMR-LQSR routing protocol on theZigBee platform. The analysis of the results proves that ZMR-LQSR excels the othertwo routing protocols in synthetically performance. |
