With the increase of the integration and the frequency of the integrated circuit, the waste of the single integrated circuit will be added. Because of this, in order to ensure the function of the circuit, the module which is used to monitor the temperature must be designed. In this thesis, the history, the actuality and the future of the temperature sensor are introduced. Combined with the structure of the integrated temperature sensor, the principle of the bandgap referenced voltage and current are expounded, and a kind of improved circuit is introduced. Meanwhile, by analyzing digital to analog convertor, a kind of Mixed 8bit Digital to Analog Convertor is put forward, a Successive Approximation Register Analog to Digital Convertor is designed. And based on this, the temperature sensor is achieved. The circuit is realized in a CMOS 0.13 u m Logic process of SMIC, and will be tested. Compared with the same type of integrated temperature sensor, the more simple structure and the more advanced process are adopted, so the area of the chip is saved. Meantime, the technology without calibration is introduced, the manufacture is predigested and the productivity is improved.
