In order to further enhance controlling force for marketing business, executive ability for marketing affairs and supervision power for customer service of power company, and improve operation performance and customer service level of the national grid company, this paper mainly researches business expansion process of power company based on Mega Marketing model. Firstly the new requirements of power "mega marketing" for business expansion process have been analyzed, and the disadvantages of existing business expansion process have been identified. And then improvement scheme for business expansion process has been proposed based on the principle of ECRS to reengineer the business expansion process. Moreover, the flow chart method has been used to describe the old and new processes, and the ASME, IDEFO and Activity Based Costing methods have been applied to analyze the old and new processes, and then the old and new processes have been compared based on the above analysis results. Finally, auxiliary measures that are helpful to implement business process reengineering successfully have been suggested.Specific conclusions derived from analysis are as follows:At first, building the "Mega Marketing" system actively can enhance operation performance and customer service level of the national grid company. Secondly the Systematic Redesign method is optimal method which power company can use to reengineer business expansion process. Thirdly using the flow chart method to describe processes and the ASME, IDEFO and Activity Based Costing methods to analyze processes, and proposing improvement scheme for business expansion process based on the principle of ECRS is the quite effective method to reengineer business expansion process. Finally, for implementing business process reengineering successfully, support of information technology, staff training and flattening organizational structure is necessary. In short, the method that this paper utilizes to research power company business expansion process has maneuverability and practicability, and can provide reference for business expansion process reengineering of power company and has theoretical and practical significance.
