Recently, in this special development period of online group-buying industry, consumers nolonger purchase online group-buying products blindly. At the same time, it is necessary forbusiness to balance and after that they can decide whether to join online group-buying and howto deal with it. Based on this, the paper selects catering group-buying as subject investigated.The question of how catering, customers and websites influence the profit of onlinegroup-buying is posed. The study tries to figure out how single factor and combinations offactors influence the strategy of group-buying and optimal profits. The method of simulation isinnovatively used to study the question. Quantitative study is also a breakthrough.Conclusion shows that under normal circumstances, a reasonable group-buying strategy ofcatering enterprise promotes their profits. Different factors have different influence on profit ofcatering enterprises. Relative to other factors, the effects of customer loyalty and gross margin oncatering profit are stronger. Finally, the results of this study indicate that catering enterprise needto make group-buying decisions according on itself and external environmental factors.
