Foreign Trade’s Effect On China’s Manufacturing Industry Structure Upgrade

Industrial economic and trade relationship between the economic has been focused bymany scholars. Under the condition of open economy trade, economic development has changedthe domestic factor endowment level. At the same time through the commodity, capital andtechnology exchanges there is mutual influence among country to make economy developmentand industrial upgrading path has a strong variability and dependence. The thesis makes theChinese manufacturing industry as the main subject, regards the most representative content oftechnology trade, capital flow and commodity trade——technology import, foreign directinvestment and goods exchange as main effects of channel mechanism analysis. Based on theyears2001to2010data, the empirical analysis has been carried out through correlation analysis,input-output analysis by use of Eview6.0and Excel2003analysis software. Conclusion is theeffect of merchandise trade; technology trade and capital have weight division in Chinesemanufacturing industry structure upgrade. Technology trade on the manufacturing industryupgrading of the industrial structure is not clear; foreign direct investment by changing theproduction factor input proportion can effectively optimize the industrial structure of productionfactors; merchandise trade influence to manufacturing industry is big and broad, the influence tomanufacturing industry is also more profound.
