A Study On Loan Strategies To Small And Medium Enterprises In China Construction Bank Xingtai Branch

In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s private economy hasgot unprecedented development. Small and medium-sized enterprises(SME), as the main body ofprivate economy, has made enormous contribution to economic growth, the adjustment ofindustrial structure and the employment of labor force, playing an increasingly important role.State and local governments have given strong support and preferential policies for thedevelopment of small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition, commercial banks also paymore and more attention to small and medium-sized business and SME credit business hasdeveloped rapidly. However,due to various factors like small and medium-sized enterprises’ ownlimitation, restrictions of policies and commercial banks’ risk control requirements, at presentSME credit business is still immature and imperfect. There still exists financing difficulty oncertain level, which needs further study.Having worked in the China Construction Bank for twenty years, the author has a profoundawareness and understanding of SME credit business. On the basis of relevant theoreticalresearch and lessons from advanced experience of domestic and foreign financial institutions,with a combination with the local economic characteristics, the author studies the presentsituations and existing problems in strategies of loans to small and medium enterprises in XingtaiBranch, then put forward development strategys on aspects like business process optimizationand the flow reconstitution, innovation of prducts and services, and risk prevention, lookingforward to providing beneficial references and certain guiding significance for the practical workof the China Construction Bank and other banks.
