| With the rapid development of China’s economy, urban subway is developing rapidlyduring recent years. In the next few years there will be more subway lines and more subwaytrains put in use. Urban rail transport, characterized by large volume, high speed, highpunctuality, small footprint, pollution, is an important part of the city’s public transport system.Compared with other modes of transportation, it is better able to meet the travel needs betweeninner city and suburban.Development of urban rail transit will have an important impact to thesociety, economy and transportation. Urban rail transit not only brings great convenience forpeople’s travel, but also the rapid increase in energy consumption. With the rapid developmentof urban rail transportation, the energy consumption increases rapidly which leading to a surgein operating costs. As we all know, the rapid development of the economy must rely on energy,China is a relatively energy deficient country. In this case, improve the energy efficiency is ofgreat significance to China’s transport sector. The research on energy efficiency measuremethod of the urban rail transit system has important practical significance to promote thesustainable development of rail transportation.On the basis of existing research, the paper first analysis to define of the rail transportationenergy efficiency and decomposed it into technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Thetechnical efficiency can reflect the level of the input-output production units. Scale efficiencycan reflect whether the size of the units is appropriate.On the basis of the above theoretical analysis, applying DEA method, empirical research iscarried out.Take X city subway line for example. This paper collected data of X city subwayline, carried out the statistical analysis by DEAP2.1analysis software. Relevantrecommendations are given according to the results and the actual situation. |
