With China’s accelerating the process of accession to the WTO, China’s coalenterprises in the competitive environment has undergone a dramatic change, the coalenterprises operating system to accelerate the pace of everything in the transformation andupheaval.: From the macro level, the Chinese economy is in gradually transition fromhigh-carbon economy to a low-carbon economy, which brings a huge impact to thetraditional coal industry; from the industry level, safety in mining, green mining, energyconservation has brought new challenges to the coal enterprises; from the enterprise level,competition contradiction between the large coal mines and small coal mines in thesurrounding area is converted from principal contradiction into subordinate contradictions,the principal contradiction at present is the large Coal Mine Group competition. In the faceof new challenges and more intense competition, a large coal enterprise groups should bebigger, doing fine, and stroner, increase the amount and grade of their own files, accessmore resources; continuously improve the negotiation skills with suppliers and users,establish their own reputation and brand, and enhance the core competitiveness ofenterprises, for getting an invincible position in the increasingly competitive energy market.In this paper, through the analysis of the internal and external environment of the DSGroup learn more about the background of the enterprise. The chapter describes the currentsituation and development trend of China’s coal industry, the DS Group area coal marketsituation, the impact on the coal enterprises by the China’s coal reform policy, and theproduction, organizational structure, business performance of DS Group. ApplicationSWOT matrix to determine the business development strategy, and pointed out the DSGroup as an integrated Energy Group, to take the coal-based and diversified developmentpath is the main choice to participate in market competition. The focus of this paper isdescribing the specific business development strategy in the corporate strategic system,technology research and development system, and human resources development systemetc.
