The Research In International Settlement Management Of Bank Of China Gansu Branch

Bank of china, one of the four states owned commercial banks, is built in1912.It is the most internationalized and the exclusive bank which has been operating continuously in china. With Chinese economic opening and the increasing development of import and export, the international settlement of bank of china developed very fast and became the first one in settlement of the world. However, bank of china has to confront the severe competition from other banks after china government have allowed all banks to operate international business.As one of the36first lever branches, bank of china Gansu branch also felt the pressure from other banks. The settlement department has been explored many problems in management means and mode. This thesis is trying to find the problems of management in international department and analyze the courses of the problems. Combining with the world developed banking management, this thesis will make improvements in the following areas:Change of the organization, setting of the products manager, regulation of customer manager and enterprise culture.
