Since the1990s, the brand economy has fully penetrated into the field of human economy. Brand development and construction bring a higher degree to the economic agents in higher value-added and competitive advantage. Contradiction between supply and demand of agricultural products and sales problem have become increasingly prominent, the upgrade of brand agriculture competitiveness and the brand building of agricultural products have received extensive attention.Huaian is a major agricultural city in jiangsu province, but the brand agricultural development is incompatible with its status. Huaian’s agricultural product category is rich, and the output is high, but the number of quality agricultural products are not enough and famous agricultural products brand are inadequate which restrict sustainable development of agricultural economy of huaian.Over the years, Huaian’s agricultural production operators lack of brand awareness and the extensive mode of production management cause agricultural products mostly to be the staple goods. Agricultural products have no brand name or have no no brand recognition, market share is not high, the competition ability is not strong, the price and profits is low, and agricultural products are in a awkward situation. It is of great theoretical and practical value to conduct research about the the brand in huaian and means to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural products.This topic determines the direction of the research topic selection through the research and analysis of the development situation of agriculture and brand agriculture in huaian, on the basis of analysing the literature review, establishes the research theory and evaluation method, based on literature, questionnaire investigation and relevant departments statistics data, and by using analytic hierarchy process to constitute a model to research the influence factors of brand agriculture competitiveness in huaian, and sort the affecting factors according to the importance, on this foundation, we offer some advises for Huaian’s brand agriculture competitiveness. The main purpose of the study is to put forward the ranking importance of affecting factors about agricultural brand competitive and offer some references for the development of agriculture and the promotion of brand agriculture in huaian.
