Listed Company Climate Change Related Governance Disclosure And Practice

This article puts forward the " listed company climate change related governance disclosure CCGD " as the research object through thinking on the subject of global climate change, through the literature reading and summary, combined with actions taken by the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong commercial institutions. Based on the detailed investigation in the Hong Kong listed companies and the environmental protection association, combined with the study of relevant international standards and advanced study, it designs this index to disclosure of climate change related governance based on sample company action standard. The accordance of selection of sample companies is that there is closely related disclosure between Hong Kong local listed company, and non-governmental environmental organizations (NGOs) or carbon governance mechanism, regular and continuous, Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed company and Hang Seng, at the same time as the Hang Seng corporate sustainability index (Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series, HSCSI), related stocks report and data can be achieved through public channels.On this basis, collect and arrange with in-depth interpretation and annual report on corporate and independent reporting integrity, constructed CCGD object reference table, in order to establish the CCGD Indicator research basis and structure and improve the Indicators system based on CCGD.By tracking and investigation on Changzhou Hengfeng Copper Co., Ltd. Of the Chinese mainland, as the research object, and comparative studies were carried out to verify the CCGD Indicator, the basic conclusion is:there are a series problems in small and mid enterprise board in China, such as cognitive, governance and external supervision problems in listed capacity of manufacturing enterprises, there is at least5years gap of the level of CCGD with that in Hong Kong. The exploratory work and conclusions of this study will provide market participants reference for the main company, investors and supervision.
