Research On The Development Of Jiuhua Polygonatum Cyrtonema Industrialization

Located in Qingyang County Anhui Province, Jiuhua Mountain is one of the fourBuddhist Holy Mountains in China. Jiuhua Mountain is abounding in Jiuhua MountainPolygonatum, which is of good quality among that produced in other origins. RecentlyQingyang County develops Polygonatum industry vigorously, and agriculture and ruraleconomy has obtained great development. However, during the development, problemssuch as unreasonable industrial structure, low increase of farmers’ income, weak marketcompetiveness emerged. In recent years, Qingyang County is vigorously impelling theindustrialization process of agricultural specialties by way of base construction, etc. As aresult, Qingyang County has gained sound and fast economic development.Guided by theories such as Industrial Economics and Regional Economics, themeaning, characteristics and organization pattern of agricultural industrialization areelaborated in this paper. Through reviewing large amounts of data and literatures onPolygonatum industry, summering the former research production, analyzingPolygonatum’s commercial value, visiting the planting base and processing enterprises ofPolygonatum, keeping track of Polygonatum’s planting, production and deep processing,the writer gets a deep understanding about the current situation of Polygonatum’sindustrialization, planting, production and deep processing, which are also elaborated inthis paper. By methods of questionnaire inquiry, SWOT analysis and AHP, the writer drawsthe following conclusion: the leading enterprises, the industrialization of Polygonatum’sproduction, and the interest distribution mechanism are the main restricting factors duringthe process of Polygonatum’s industrialization in Jiuhua Mountain.According to the research conclusion, corresponding countermeasures are proposed,which including intensifying the development of leading enterprises, boosting regionaleconomy, strengthening farmers’ organization and consciousness of industrialization,developing industrialization, strengthening government guidance, improving interestdistribution mechanism, guiding production in the idea of sustainable development,strengthening the construction of standardized demonstration bases...
