Study On The Relationship Between The Rural Financial And Economic Growth Of Jilin Province

Finance occupies a pivotal position in the socialist market economy as the core of theeconomy, Rural finance is very important where the rural economy can not be ignored, hasincreasingly become the key to modern social resource allocation. Therefore, the growth ofthe rural economy is largely dependent on the development of rural financial situation. Inorder to accelerate the development of the rural economy and improve their living standards,we must have the funds to invest in rural areas. The key is how to introduce funds in the ruralareas, and make it effective for the new rural construction, which requires the establishmentof financial service system perfect.Jilin Province is located in122-131degrees east longitude,41-46degrees north latitude,covers an area of187400square kilometers, accounting for2%of the country’s surface area,as of the end of2010, the population of Jilin Province is27,466,000, which agriculturalpopulation is12810200, accounting for46.64%,Jilin Province has abundant land resources,which is a major agricultural province in China, and the agricultural economy plays animportant role in the national economy of the province. This paper takes Jilin Province as theresearch object, to rely on the rural economic development of Jilin Province and the data ofrural financial development over the years, in order to study the relationship between the ruralfinance and the economic development of Jilin Province, and puts forward the correspondingpolicy suggestions on the development of rural finance in Jilin province.This paper mainly uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to study the relationsbetween the rural finance and the economy in Jilin Province. In the " statistical yearbook ofJilin " and " Jilin Province Rural Finance Statistics Yearbook " as the basis, at first, usequalitative method to analyze status of rural economic growth in Jilin Province and the latestfeatures of the development of rural financial, and study the existing problems in the ruralfinancial development in Jilin Province; Then analyze the relationship between Jilin ruraleconomy and rural finance development by using quantitative analysis method, from anempirical perspective, followed make out the comprehensive analysis of the relationshipbetween them by using granger causality test and impulse response function image. Finally,based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, Jilin Province in the newhistorical period, we must attach great importance to the construction of the rural financemarket and the rural financial role in promoting the rural economy, The government needs tocarry on the effective management of the existing rural funds, deepen rural financial reform,and fully mobilize the positive factors in the rural financial market, to further promote thedevelopment of the rural financial sector.
