The interact of process management innovation in business practice and workingcapital management theory promote the continuous development of modernmanagement concepts in the process of enterprise development, which broadlyspeaking, can be classified as part of the working capital management. Thedevelopment of information technology has played an important role in promoting thecontinuous expansion of the geographic scope of the business, and makes theenterprise management philosophy to practical application. ERP as a theory combinedwith the most cutting-edge information systems, so within the enterprise and betweenenterprises closer to inject new vitality to the market-oriented business. In recentyears, Chinese enterprises constantly introduced ERP, but what specificimplementation effect? How should the planning of the implementation of the ERP?The premise expounded the theory model, for working capital and ERP theory andpractice; I hope this study can play a valuable role in revelation, through empiricalanalysis to determine the effect of the implementation of ERP.After the introduction, the article literature review section comb working capitaland ERP theory, especially in recent years, the part which has more researchsignificance. Summed up the conclusions, driven by the goal of maximizing profits ofstakeholders, logistics coordination and management of various channels to achievelong-term capital and short-term funds through the sources and uses of funds, as wellas operations in the balance of the operating activities and investing activities, namelycustomer orientation under the overall coordination of the development of enterprisebusiness processes in order to achieve "zero working capital management. The centralidea of the ERP business process management, contact the logistics supply chainmanagement, and production planning management which goal for sale as well asfinancial module integrated information management are all fit for the working capitalmanagement. These also provide a basis for empirical research at the end.Following the theoretical analysis Empirical Study select working capital cycleindicators classified in accordance with the channels raised by Professor WangZhuquan, by setting the two samples of implementation and non-implementation ofERP data to avoid the interference of other factors outside of the ERP, setting virtualvariable to empirical analysis the working capital management affected by ERP implementation. Finally, the article points out that due to the limitations of the sources ofinformation and academic ability, there are still many deficiencies, and hope that canbe improved in future research, and hope to be able to establish the ERP database, andinnovate research methods through practice.
