Research On The Problems And Countermeasures In System Operation Of Basic Personal Credit Information Database

Currently, our personal credit information database system is still at its initial stage. Therefore, improving and upgrading personal credit information database system becomes the key content of our financial information construction. The establishment of unified basic personal credit information database system will play an important role in the building of China’s credit system.The normal management and operation of basic personal credit information database is carried out by the credit reporting center of People’s Bank of China. Since the formal operation of2006, the social efficiency of basic personal credit information database has been dramatically increased and it has exerted positive impact on standardizing personal credit behavior, preventing credit risk, as well as enhancing social credibility, but the shortcoming in system operation of basic personal credit information database, such as operating function and the absence of the ability of data analysis, which gradually expose the problems in personal information collection, inquiring, handling objections and data decision. Therefore by restricting the rapid and healthy development of personal credit information system, the demand of credit business development of financial institution cannot be met.This paper analyzes the problems and corresponding causes in practical operation of basic personal credit information database. Meanwhile, proposal and countermeasures are put forward so as to enhance operating function of basic personal credit information database and the operability, controllability of credit data. Using data warehouse and data mining technology to realize the data analysis and other value-added services, to further improve service level for the credit business of the financial institutions.The paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, it illustrates the research significance, the current research situation and research thinking of basic personal credit information database. The second part define the concepts of personal credit information, database, data warehouse, data mining etc. The third part describe operation process of basic personal credit information database. The fourth part analyzes the issues and causes in practical operation of basic personal credit information database such as the imperfection of operation function of database, the inability of database to undertake mass data and its lack of decision analyzing ability, the institutional imperfection of database extension. The fifth parts starts from the perspective of the perfection of database system operation function, the building of data warehouse, the application of data mining technology, the upgrading of regulation on database system extension. It put forwards the measures of addressing these issues.
