Research On Farmers Demand Willingness And Influencing Factors For Policy Corn Insurance In Jilin Province

China is an agricultural country, the issue of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" has been a main issue of Chinese revolution and construction, however, in today’s era of modernization and reform and opening up,"agriculture, rural areas and farmers" issue is still one of the nation’s important issues. Farmers need to establish a transfer and spread risk management mechanism. Agricultural insurance, standing on the position of farmers, it can serve as a tool to transfer risk, standing on the position of the country, it can serve as a major means of development and protection of agriculture. Jilin province is a big agricultural province, it is able to actively participate in the agricultural insurance pilot, local government and insurance companies in the form of "united to guarantee" attempt to open the policy on agricultural insurance for the first time. In addition, considering the corn planting area in Jilin province is the largest, is the most representative in staple crops, related the largest number farmers, is a matter of national security of grain production varieties, analysis on corn insurance, then can accumulate large crop insurance developmental experience for the future.This research to influence factors of farmers’ agricultural insurance requirements as the theme, in combination with Nong’an county, Lishu county, Gong Zhuling city in Jilin province agricultural insurance situation, adopt the method of random sampling to investigate object, take the way of household questionnaire survey and field interviews to obtain firsthand data, using Eviews software tools, using descriptive statistical analysis and regression method of combining the Logit model, aimed analyzing of Jilin corn farmers insurance demand will influence factors, and find out the factors influencing direction and extent, and finally, to increase the effective demand for corn farmers insurance put forward the reasonable countermeasures and suggestions, so as to promote the development agricultural insurance of Jilin province.The paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one is introduction. Mainly introduced the research background and research significance, domestic and international literature review, research objectives and framework, research contents, technical route and research methods, etc.;The second chapter introduced status of corn production in Jilin Province and natural disasters in Jilin province, as well as the present situation of agricultural insurance, and the existing problems;The third chapter is mainly the data obtained according to the questionnaire, descriptive statistical analysis for Jilin province farmers intend to factors affecting the demand for agricultural insurance conducted;The fourth chapter used the Logit model to view the influence factors of farmers’ willingness to demand for agricultural insurance to carry on the empirical analysis of Jilin province. Assume that influence factors respectively for age, education level, corn planting area, and the income of households, corn accounted for the proportion of household income, farmers’ understanding of the agricultural insurance and claim satisfaction;The fifth chapter summed up the conclusions on the basis of the theoretical research combined with actual situation, descriptive analysis and empirical analysis combination, according to the conclusions proposed targeted countermeasures and suggestions.
