Status Of Processing Trade And Analysis Of Transformation And Upgrading Based On Guangming New District

In the era of the US sub-prime crisis and European sovereign debt crisis, major Chinese economic regions previously powered by traditional processing trade are facing common development bottlenecks, which makes transformation and upgrading of processing trade a prerequisite for the continuous and health development of regional or even national economy. This paper systematically analyzes the current status and trend of factors like the processing trade, GDP, industrial structure, pillar industries, enterprises’ type and scale and so on by using management statistics and industrial analysis methods, which is based on the processing trade upgrading experiment district of SHENZHEN, Guangming. Research results are insightful in investigating potential approaches and methods for the transformation and upgrading of traditional processing trade.Firstly, the article describes the basic theory of the processing trade, including a comprehensive description of the research at home and abroad, and then discusses the theory of the transformation and upgrading of processing trade. It stresses that the focus of the transformation is the change in business trends, and focus of the upgrdation is the the rise of the value chain. Secondly, through the analysis of the results of investigation and survey data, the article describes the development status of processing trade enterprises in Guangming New District, and tries to judge the present situation of processing trade. In the last analysis, through the study from macro to micro, from the external economic environment to the hardware facilities, the article attempt to estimate the advantages and disadvantages faced by the processing trade Guangming District. Then the article analyzes the experiences and lessons of other countries and regions, through the period of upgrading and restructuring of the processing trade of, looking for suitable cf modeled for Guangming New District.
