The reform and opening up to promote the rapid development of China-EUeconomic and trade cooperation, China since its accession to the World TradeOrganization in2001, China-EU economic and trade cooperation to a higher level.However, the European sovereign debt crisis broke out in2010, China-EUeconomic and trade cooperation to cast a shadow. European debt problem still existsand continues to deteriorate, the scale is much larger than previously, especiallysince2004, the EU economy has surpassed the U.S. as China’s largest export market,we can imagine the impact of the European debt crisis inevitably will spreadtoChina-EU economic and trade cooperation, the development of China-EU economicimpact.In this paper, the history, literature, law and other related theoretical researchmethods to explore the impact of the European debt crisis on China-EU economicand trade cooperation generated. From the connotation of the European debt crisis,causes and historical evolution, the study of history, now explore the impact of theEuropean debt crisis on China-EU economic and trade cooperation andEnlightenment. First, China’s import and export trade, including exports to the EUscale, products, markets and so has been a greater impact; debt crisis, tradeprotectionism began to rise, countervailing duties, anti-dumping duties and a newtype of carbontariffs and so had a greater negative impact on the normaldevelopment of China-EU economic and trade cooperation. Second, the debt riskmanagement in China, the European debt crisis led to significant increase in the sizeof the Chinese government borrowing, uneven economic development and othernegative effects; compare the similarities and differences between Europe andChina in the debt risk management; strategy to deal with the debt risk,includingplay to the guiding role of the national industrial policy, improve theforeign debt monitoring and early warning system, the development of local andforeign currency-denominated external debt unified regulatory policies, improve thesystem of foreign exchange to pay reform betting poor indicators management mode.Finally, the EU investment in China, first expounded the basic status of the EUinvestment in China, including smaller overall investment, investment entities andinvestment was diversified investment areas are concentrated in the core countriesof the European Union, the area of investment is concentrated in themanufacturingfinancial, leasing and service industries; invest in the EU’s internaland external environment, including developing countries in the internationalinvestment proportion rising, China has entered the expansion of foreign direct investment stage, Chinese investment in the EUenvironment has improved;expounded China’s investment in the EU should be how to expand from thegovernment level, the corporate level and the national level of the European Union.Analyzed the impact of the European debt crisis on China-EU economic andtrade cooperation on the basis of a series of questions for China-EU economic andtrade cooperation, the paper also proposed the countermeasures, including thedeepening of China-EU economic and trade cooperation; actively respond to theeconomic and trade frictions; efficientrespond to the impact of the depreciation ofthe euro; rapid transformation of the growth mode of foreign trade; vigorouslypromote China-EU scientific and technological cooperation.
