With the development process of globalization, economic responsibility is not aThe only goal of business concern,Other corporate social responsibility has also beenconcern. However,these top companies are state-owned enterprises or large well-known enterprises,SMEs rarely appeared. In China, the number of small and medium enterprises accountfor more than90%of the total number of enterprises, this group of corporate socialresponsibility should be concerned about. Although the small and medium enterprisesfulfill a part of social responsibility through the payment and taxation, but a weakawareness of social responsibility for SMEs, and did not pay full attention to corporatesocial responsibility. Excessive pursuit of maximum profit, lack credibility, serious taxevasion, leading to rampant fake and shoddy goods, endless production safetyaccidents, labor disputes, the frequent mining accidents, and product quality problems,environmental pollution problems occur frequently. At the same time, we note that thesmall and medium enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities, often view them asa burden, not a correct view of the importance of social responsibility of businessdevelopment, this paper studied the relationship between the social responsibility ofSMEs, social capital and enterprise competitivenessFor the study of corporate social responsibility, many of studies have theoreticalguidance and practical significance. The previous studies focused on the perspective ofstakeholder theory or corporate citizenship theory, analysis of how to undertakecorporate social responsibility and how to benefits of the competitiveness of enterprisesfrom the corporate social responsibility. This research in the study of stakeholder theory,the basis of the SME strategic management theory, corporate social capital theory,corporate social responsibility behaviors theory and other literatures, while thecorporate fulfill their social responsibilities, although there will be a material capital orhuman capital expenditures, but social capital must be increased. Increase in socialcapital to build the competitiveness of enterprises have a very significant impact.Therefore, this study on corporate social responsibility as an independent variable,social capital as the mediating variables, the competitiveness of enterprises as the dependent variable, the questionnaire and empirical research, analysis of therelationship between three variables.When study Variables, from four dimensions of economic responsibility, legalresponsibility, moral responsibility and charitable responsibility to research corporatesocial responsibility. From the dimensions of structural capital, relational capitaldimensions and three aspects of cognitive capital dimension to the study of socialcapital. Analysis studies the competitiveness of enterprises from the three dimensionsof capacity, resources and power mechanism. In this study, questionnaire data wereanalyzed using statistical software SPSS17.0which the use of the questionnaire,descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and to adjust theeffect of test, to use AMOS17.0the establishment of structural equation and Validity,Model Checking, and intermediary effect.By examining the model, the results showthat: corporate social responsibility and social capital show significant positivecorrelation, showing significant positive correlation between corporate socialresponsibility and competitiveness of enterprises, corporate social capital and thecompetitiveness of enterprises between showing significant positive correlation.Tofurther study the relationship between the dimensions and variables, and furtherresearch, results showed that the economic responsibility, legal responsibility, moralresponsibility and charitable responsibility for four dimensions and enterprisecompetitiveness was positively correlated; dimensions of structural capital, relationalcapital dimension and cognitive capital dimension and enterprise competitivenesspresents a significant positive correlation. Through the mediating effect of socialcapital, corporate social responsibility have partial mediating effect between andcompetitiveness of enterprises.The innovation of this research mainly has the following several aspects. The firstinnovation of this study is that, in research of the small and medium enterprises socialresponsibility, combined with the characteristics of small and medium enterprises,through the different dimensions analysis the corporate social responsibility, socialcapital and enterprise competitiveness.The second innovation is to use AMOS17.0analysis of the relationship between corporate social responsibility, social capital andenterprise competitiveness, using data to corporate social responsibility and socialcapital, social responsibility and competitiveness of enterprises, as well as socialcapital and enterprise competitiveness causal relationship clearly outlined. At the same time demonstrated partial mediating effect of social capital for corporate socialresponsibility and competitiveness of enterprises. The third innovation of the study liesin the selection the small and medium-sized enterprises as the research object, througha questionnaire survey research, using the new model to analyze the corporate socialresponsibility behavior on social capital and the role of competitiveness, andcombining with the theoretical analysis conclusion and put forward somecountermeasures and suggestions, for corporate social responsibility is a guiding role.
