It was said that China’s foreign direct investment was increasing since China’s joined the WTO organization in2001. And it has become an important means for enterprises to participate in globalization. Over the past decade, the average growth rate of China’s non-financial overseas investment was51.3%. However, the business in many companies was reported to bring about great damage not big gains because of the limitation of the development time of the business, the flaws of the management system, the lack of professional competence talents. In fact, in the wave of globalization, foreign direct investment business could help enterprises to capture the market and lead the opponents. What is more important, the development of the business would expand the overall view of the enterprises. It could contribute to improve the overall value of the enterprise by improving techniques, finding the requirement of new products and improving the products.In this paper, the author analysis the present situation of internal control of overseas investment business of China’s enterprises and put forward improving measures, including improving the internal environment, strengthening risk management, improving control activities, optimizing the information and communication systems, strengthening internal supervision. The case study of Haier Group in the end of the article confirm the reasonableness of the measures and provide references for other enterprises. And the result also show the importance of employee management and using of IT technology.
