Research On IT Service Management For HB-Post-Company

With the continuous development of the postal service, the constant expansion ofinformation networks and systems, it put forward higher requirements to increase thequality and efficiency of the postal IT service management. In order to further promote thesustainable development of Hubei-Post, quickly and efficiently adapt to market changesand customer needs, and to continuously improve the core competitiveness of Hubei Post，it is urgent to build the IT service management system of Hubei Post, which can supportproduction provide and policy decision.Firstly, the thesis introduces the background of current development of postalenterprise and postal information construction, expounds the purpose and significance ofresearch on IT service management of Hubei-post. Secondly, it has carried on thesummary of international IT service management theories and practice, such as ITSM,ITIL, and ISO20000etc. Based on the analysis of the current situation and existingproblems of Hubei postal IT service management, the IT service managementrequirements is pointed out. And then, according to the related theory, combining with theneeds of Hubei postal service development, the thesis proposes Hubei postal service ITmanagement solutions, which are formed of the IT service management architecture,organization, service management processes and standards for refinement. At last, theimplementation measures on IT service management system are discussed. This thesisuses IT service management and project management methods to study Hubei Post ITservice management systematically. Since the postal enterprises are in a whole network,this study can provide a strong reference to not only Hubei Post, but also other Postalenterprises.
