The Inflation Issue In Vietnam After Renovation Period

Dissertation has focused on the study of theoretical and practical problems of inflation inthe world and in Vietnam; analyzing changes and the causes of inflation in Vietnam aftereconomic reforms known as the renovation in1986, and during an extensive time ofinternational economic integration; simultaneously focusing on analyses operating practicesmacroeconomic policies to curb inflation in Vietnam and make the implies adjustments in thecoming year. The specific content of the thesis is achieved:1. A systematic synthesis of the theories of inflation is widely accepted over the world,for the purpose as a basis for the study of inflation in Vietnam.2. Correct analysis of the factors causing the fluctuation of inflation in Vietnam.3. Analysis of specific situation that implement policies system to control inflation andpromote growth and to clarify the existing problems.4. The essay gives a number for adjustment of macroeconomic policies to controlinflation and promote economic growth in the future: maintain fiscal policy with extremely care,adjust monetary policy toward a more caution way, innovate banking system, and adjust theexchange rate policy.Although the thesis has achieved a certain success in the study of inflation in Vietnam butafter the renovation and in the international economic integration process, the further research oninflation remains an urgent need. Therefore, I hope the results of this thesis will contribute toenrich the study of inflation in Vietnam in particular and the macro-economic research in general.
