| The paper illusrates that Chinese cigarette market has been in an importantposition in the national economy by statistic data, and also demonstrates a goodeconomic environment can effectively promote the development of Chinese cigarettemarket by the method of linkage analysis and linear regression. Through the analysisof environment factors on Chinese tobacco control policy, the paper illustratesdeveloping predicament the cigarette market may encounter in the foreseeable future.It is significant that the cigarette market in the opportunities and dilemmas shouldadjust the structure of the market and constantly meet consumer demand, and it isalso meaningful that finding high quality customers to achieve steady growthperformance for the development tendency of Chinese cigarette market. Under thenew situation of global economic integration and joining in WTO, Chinese cigarettemarket faces the pressure from international tobacco. Under strategy guide whichrefers to big market, big enterprise and big brand, chinese cigarette industry is in alarge-scale industry restructuring, organizational reform and increasing industrialconcentration. System of monopoly now is turning to the regulation by the marketallocation, tobacco enterprise should find deficiencies to keep strong competitiveness.The main structure of study in this paper is as follows: firstly, by descriptionanalysis and correspondence analysis we study market distribution of cigarette brand,which contains overall distribution on brand, brand switching, distribution of thespecific cigarette type, price period of brand distribution, brand distribution of pointsregion,and then we compare the healthy degree of top five brands by analyzing brandawareness,brand switching,alternative brand,brand satisfication and brand loyalty.Secondly, we use the PLS path model to analyzing satisfication and loyalty ofconsumers.Finally, based on the analysis on the description of consumer behavior,clustering analysis, exploratory analysis, we analysised the behavior of spending oncigarette consumption by the method of association rule mining.The paper show that chinese cigarette brand concentration is very high, where Yun Yan, Zhong Hua, Yu XI, Fu Rongwang and Huang Helou have accounted forabout60%of the market share. Yun Yang develops evenly which has the healthiestbrand, Zhong Hua has very high acceptance, Fu Rongwang has loyal customers, YuXi has the highest rate in brand translation. Association rules analysis demonstratedthat people’s higher income would have something with higher price on cigarettesmoked by they and people around and people with high education who is older than26has high level consumption on cigarette. After the target customers,PLS pathmodel demonstrate that brand image,customer exceptation,quality awareness andprice awareness are postively related to customer satisfication, where qualityawareness and price awareness directly impact on customer satisfication, whereasbrand image and customer exceptation indirectly but stronger impact on customersatisfication.Finally, the situation of cigarette consumption market and characteristic revealedby the survey are summarized, and the paper proposed some thoughts and advices:cultivating the brand, enhancing the brand health, forming well competitive landscape;meeting the needs of customers, improving customer’s satisfaction, cultivatingcustomer loyalty, paying attention to construction of retail clients, developing andcultivating high quality customers, promoting the consumption level, and so on. |
