Chengdu has a long shoe-making tradition and history, as one of thefour footwear production base in China, Chengdu footwear industry more rely on OEMproduction, access to the survival of the foundry costs, but due to rising costs, a varietyof factors, The Chengdu OEM increasingly slim profit margins.In recent years, upgrading as the country’s overall manufacturing industry, as wellas the rapid development of the coastal economy, the production processes of sometraditional industries gradually transferred to the central and western regions, which alsomakes the domestic footwear industry competition. Chengdu shoe-making enterprises inorder to break out the long-term development, is bound to shape its own brand.In this thesis, analysis, history, opportunities, and external environment and otherfactors faced by the footwear industry in Chengdu Chengdu shoe shaping the shoebrand.
