The Establishment Of Bilateral Agriculture And Countermeasures South Korea Free Trade Area

With the development of economic globalization, trade relations betweencountries are increasingly close. As members of the WTO are quite diverse,multilateral negotiations are not able to meet the interests of individual members,which make it difficult to reach a consensus. Nowadays, more and more countries arein pursuit of regional integration and the establishment of free trade area, namely FTA.There exist excellent conditions for Sino-Korea cooperation in terms of geographicalposition and resource complementarities. This article is based on Sino-Korea FTAproject, adopting the combination of literature research, empirical analysis andnormative analysis. First of all, the paper reviews the relevant theories, and then thefeasibility of Sino-Korea FTA is analyzed. The thesis focused on the potential impactson Korea agriculture after the establishment of FTA and countermeasures for bothChina and Korea. Finally, the prospect of Sino-Korea FTA project was made on thebasis of the above analysis.
