The pace of Economic Globalization’s accelerating is now forcing China’s enterprisescontinue to adjust and upgrade the industry structure, in order to enhance their BusinessPerformance, enterprises in China try to find a breakthrough from innovating their managementways and means, the most eye-catching than the innovation of Employee PerformanceAppraisal. In recent years, how to realize the localization of Employee Performance Appraisalin China and enhance its’ effectiveness is a major focus of research, however, the currentdomestic research in this area is mostly theoretical discussion but few empirical analysis studieswith the existence of strong data subjectivity and low credibility problem, it is necessary tomake further research.Based on the theory of the Performance Appraisal and the analysis of the status quo ofenterprises’ Employee Performance, this paper studies the effectiveness of EmployeePerformance Appraisal with Structural Equation Model which is a confirmatory method fromthe following several angles:(1) Verify the localized environment, people who do assessment,people being assessed and Performance Appraisal Operate factors’ influence in effectiveness ofEmployee Performance Appraisal;(2) Under the influence of enterprises’ EmployeePerformance Appraisal effectiveness factors, quantitative the relationship between localizedenvironment, people who do assessment, people being assessed and Performance AppraisalOperate factors to verify the effectiveness of Performance Appraisal’s influence to Enterprise’sPerformance;(3) Because of the impact of enterprise’s Employee Performance Appraisaleffectiveness of interactions between various factors, this paper also focuses on the influence ofthe relationship between the localized environment, people who do assessment, people beingassessed and Performance Appraisal Operate factors on the Employee Performance and theEnterprise Performance.Finally, on the basis of empirical research, this paper illustrates the significance of thisstudy for Human Resource Management practices and the proposal about how to enhance theeffectiveness of Employee Performance Appraisal, and summarize the results of this study,indicating gaps and future research directions.
