| City commercial banks are important component and special groups of banking industry in China. It provides financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and promotes local economic. After nearly20years of development, city commercial banks have made gratifying achievements. But facing multiple competitive pressures, it urgently needs to rethink countermeasures to help city commercial banks move forward. Zhejiang XX commercial bank is an epitome of China’s city commercial banks to some extent. Since its inception, XX commercial bank has being adhered to the position that basing on private economy and servicing for SMEs. It constantly makes innovation, and its innovative measures could be summed up for reference. XX commercial bank is facing the same difficulties as other city commercial banks.Nowadays, SMEs in China are encountering financing difficulties, and the city commercial banks are facing difficulties of financial innovation. Based on it, this paper focuses on the situation, difficulties and countermeasures that city commercial banks supply financial services to SMEs. It takes XX commercial bank as the research object and takes loan services as the main analysis perspective. By using case studies and questionnaires, this paper introduces the innovation means, experiences and dilemmas when XX commercial bank supplies financial services to SMEs. Besides, it analyzes the financing situation and real needs of SMEs. According to the above analysis, this paper makes a literature review and does a case study on typical city commercial banks both at home and abroad. Then it puts forward several countermeasures for XX commercial bank to supply better services for SMEs, and explores win-win symbiosis mechanism for both city commercial banks and SMEs. |
