As the key port of establishment of the ASEAN "10+1" Free Trade Area, the cooperation and development of Yunnan and the ASEAN has made great achievement in transportation, energy, communications, tourism, environment, trade and investment facilitation and other areas after more than ten years development.Yunnan located in southwest China. It’s an important bridge and channel to the ASEAN region in China before the establishment of Free Trade Area. In recent years, agriculture trade has maintained better posture than the other provinces. Particularly with the ASEAN countries it increased significantly. Since the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the agriculture products trade of Yunnan and the ASEAN countries is growing rapidly. It accounted for about half in total foreign agricultural products trade of Yunnan. This show, the building of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area promote Yunnan’s agriculture production scale effectively and the rapid growth of foreign trade of agricultural products. Therefore, from the provincial perspective this article analyze the characteristics of agricultural trade of Yunnan and ASEAN countries, and in-depth analyze Yunnan and ASEAN agricultural trade commodity structure. On this basis, it uses the revealed comparative advantage index, trade complementarities index and other quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, and cites trade intensity index and gravity model to study trade effects of China-ASEAN Free trade Area to Yunnan and ASEAN member and non-member countries. Finally, according to the results of the analysis and various factors of agricultural trade between Yunnan and ASEAN countries, the article proposed macro and micro policy suggestions to promote the development of agricultural trade between Yunnan and ASEAN, which aimed at promoting bilateral trade in agricultural products, expanding agricultural products export in Yunnan, protecting the interests of domestic agricultural producers, creating good trade environment and order.Based on the above analysis, we draw:First, in the world agriculture market, Yunnan and most ASEAN countries have certain comparative advantages, especially Yunnan; it has the most significant comparative advantage. In short term,"early harvest" plan bring a certain impact and severe test for economic development of Yunnan agriculture. But in the whole it has played a good role in promoting agricultural economic development in various countries and regions. Second, Yunnan and ASEAN countries have great trade complementarities in agriculture. As the trade complementarities index seen, Yunnan agriculture products mainly are exported to the ASEAN regions, while the ASEAN countries is also more and more important as the sources of imports of agriculture products. The agriculture trade between individual countries and Yunnan has relatively weak complementarities. But the region as a whole, bilateral trade has maintained a very high level of complementarities, better stability. Third, the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area has promoted the Yunnan-ASEAN agricultural trade to increase. Through trade intensity index and the gravity model for further analysis, we found regional economic cooperation significantly promote the tightness of Yunnan-ASEAN agricultural trade. Both imports and exports has emerged amplifying effect of different levels.
