Marx’s Monetary Theory is one of the important parts of Marxist philosophy,Currency as a universal equivalent widely consist in exchange activities betweenindividuals in the society. For individual, correctly knowing currency playsan important theoretical guiding role in better defining currency, learning abouttwo sides to everything of currency and returning to self control from currencyconstraints. Dues to the increase in social exchange, as a simple universalequivalent, currency takes place the alienation under the influence of socialobjective environment and individual subjective behavior, which leads to thealienation of the individuals in society more serious. Based on Marx’s viewpoint,and taking reference from the ideas of the modern thinkers such as Georg Simmel,I in-depth discuss and analyze the alienation of currency power in this article.Furthermore, the problems such as how the alienation of currency power touniversally interact, the manifestation of alienation and the status of alienationof currency power in our country constitute the basic framework. Alienation ofcurrency power is a kind of historical phenomenon, and also is the product ofdevelopment in social exchange to a certain stage. There is a certain correlationwith individual subjective definition on currency as well. Systematically studyon alienation of currency power has theoretical and practical significance toindividual treat money correctly, understand source causes of alienationphenomenon in society, improve this social phenomenon, and in-depth understandthe status of China’s monetary forces at present.The article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter expounds itsresearch background, reviews and summarizes the literatures related Marx MonetaryTheory and alienation of currency power, and discusses the research’s maincontent. At the same time, it includes the research methods used in this articleand possible innovation points; The second and third chapter are mainly to analyzewhy currency and its role are universal, and how currency materiality highlyto show on, which lays on the foundation for later discussion. The fourth and fifth ones depends on currency divinity and currency authority, discuss theperformance about alienation of currency power respectively on two aspects-thereversal relationship between human and money and currency authority, in theother hand analyze from different angles the root causes of currency powerdissimilation and impact on individual and its life in society; In chapter6,I deeply analyze the existing currency power at present and its alienation basedon the current China’s social situation with some examples, which provides thetheory basis on solving the problems about alienation of currency power in ourcountry.
