| China is one of the large agricultural countries in the world, agriculture is the foundation industry of the world which can stabilize people’s lives.Facing the reality of the contradictions in the supply and demand of land in ourcountry in the new period and severe food safety situation, to coordinate therelationship between population, resources, economy, actively change the mode ofland use, improve the level of intensive use of land, has become a consensus. Startingfrom the reality of China’s national conditions, intensive use a limited number ofagricultural land can effectively relieve the contradiction between land supply anddemand while solve the problem of food security, which makes the sounddevelopment of social economy.Taking Chengdu City as an example, on the basis of evaluation of intensive useof agricultural land and economic development in Chengdu City. On the one hand, this paper uses the cointegration theory from the longitudinal analysis to get therelationship between economic development and the intensive use of agricultural landuse from2000-2011, on the other hand, from the perspective of space by using spatialcorrelation analysis, this paper describes the correlation in19districts and counties ofChengdu City transversely, the result show that:Firstly, the calculation results of multi-objective synthesis evaluation show that:from2000to2011, the degree of agricultural land intensive utilization in Chengduincreased from0.2389to0.7850,the situation of agricultural land intensive utilizationis improving year by year; economic development level in Chengdu City showed agradually rising trend, the region which get highest degree of agricultural landintensive utilization of this city are suburban areas that concentrated in Pixian,Wenjiang, Xindu, Shuangliu, the region which get middle degree of agricultural landintensive utilization of this city are urban areas which included Qingyang, Jinniu,Jinjiang, Wuhou, agricultural land use degree relatively low area located in the outer suburbs of city that included Jintang, Pengzhou, Qionglai. In2011economicdevelopment shows a decreasing distribution of outward from the center of the city.Secondly, the dynamic econometric analysis shows that: there is a first-ordercointegration relationship of long-term equilibrium between economic developmentand the agricultural land intensive utilization in Chengdu, it is also a two-way causalrelationship, the interaction effect between them is different, for the impact ofintensive land use, economic development shows the response in the current period, and for the economic development impact, agricultural land utilization shows thehysteretic response, the feedback mechanism from the standard deviation of impactbetween them is decreasing.Thirdly, through the spatial correlation analysis, the degree of agglomeration ofeconomic development on the whole Chengdu city is more significant than the degreeof agglomeration of agricultural land intensive utilization, the spatial relationcharacteristic presents the state that economic development at a high level whileagricultural land intensive utilization at a low level in urban areas; the economicdevelopment at a high level while agricultural land intensive utilization at a high levelin suburban areas, the economic development at a low level while agricultural landintensive utilization at a low level in outer suburb districts. Finally according to the analysis results, this paper suggests the suitablemeasures to local conditions to enhance the level of intensive use of agricultural land, this helps provide the basis for the relevant functional departments to carry out themanagement of land, so as to make a reasonable land use planning and arrangement ofagricultural land, suit one’s measures to local conditions to enhance the level ofintensive use of agricultural land, which provide powerful guarantee for thedevelopment of social economy and food security. |
