At present, the economic development in Chongqing is mainly rely on investmentwhich boost economic growth and social progress. In order to know how to use limitedinvestment and obtain greater social benefit, we need to understand the investmentdirectly impact on the economy and also need to recognize the comprehensive effecton the national economy, which is through the investment conduction. The train ofthought is provided by the relationship between departments of Input-output analysismethod. From the perspective of industry associations, using input-output model, different departments of the same amount of investment effect on the differentiation ofthe national economy. According to the analysis conclusion, to put forward thetargeted strategy and the main direction and optimize investment structure. Therefore, important practical significance and theoretical value will be provided by departmentalresearch on investment multiplier effect. The main contents of this paper: firstly, in terms of the total amount, source, investment structure and so on,using the method combining qualitative analysis withquantitative analysis, the present situation of investment in fixed assets in Chongqingis analyzed; Secondly, based on2010input-output table data of Chongqing, usinglocal closed input-output model to estimate completely output multiplier and the addedvalue of the multiplier of Chongqing departments. What is more, penetrating in keysectors of the industry structure, completely output multiplier and the added value ofthe multiplier in the distribution of various departments were analyzed. Profoundly thecalculation results show that the display of Chongqing city departments of investmentmultiplier and multiplier numerical size of the gap between various departments, so theeconomic effects of the same investment to invest in different departments is different;thirdly, using the input-output model calculates the simple multiplier of eachdepartment and the added value of the multiplier. And the complete multipliercompared with simple multiplier analysis, quantitative expansion effect on residents’consumption multiplier effect, according to the results of Chongqing city residents’consumption expansion effect of each department has a significant impact andinfluence to different department level has obvious differences. From the average level, consumption expansion effect on output multiplier, about35.15%of the contributionto contribute about38.10%of the added value of the multiplier. Finally, according to the research conclusion, the dissertation will put forward related policyrecommendations and summary and point out the deficiency of the research directionin the future. In this dissertation, the main features of the study:(1) In terms of industryassociations, investment multiplier of Chongqing department is studied by using localclosed input-output model. Investment multiplier, obtained by partial closed model, broke through the departments in the Keynesian multiplier and marginal propensity toconsume the same hypothesis leads to departments of investment multiplier is the same, actually reflects the different sectors corresponding to different investment multiplier. It will provide great reference value with conforming to the reality of governmentinvestment policies, and optimizing the allocation of investment, improve investmentefficiency.(2) The multiplier effect of consumption expansion effect of eachdepartment output multiplier is measured by the quantitative method. In the previousstudies, whether using Keynes investment multiplier analysis or use input-output tableto measure of investment multiplier, lack of research on this aspect of the analysis.
