The incremental amount of growth surrounding China’s directinvestment into America is accompanied by America’s growing concern over foreigndirect investment from China. Political risk that underlies all shades of concerns canbe dealt with from internal mechanisms of international political economy. The paperenlarges on interaction’s impact on political risk between domestic actors of Americaand America’s internal political mechanism, methods that is employed by America forgrappling with national security-centric political risk, how much reliability that wecan depend on America’s perception and measures. The paper holds that China’sdirect investment in America is both a political issue and an economic issue. Ananalysis of and a solution to political risk is a topic that is an integral part of framingChina’s strategy for protecting overseas economic interests and exerts a great impacton stable and healthy development on China and U.S..
