China’s insurance industry after a pause of20years, began to recover in1980. People’s Insurance Company of China in1981from a government department restructuring to become professional company and establish institutions coverage nationwide. As of the end of2010, China had funded36property and casualty insurance companies,19foreign property and casualty insurance companies. Opening pattern on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of our country joined the WTO, China’s insurance market is increasingly clear that the influx of foreign insurance companies. Surface degree of domestic property insurance market competition will intensify the trend, large domestic property insurance companies should see the current situation, the timely adjustment of marketing channel construction. Therefore, how successful experience of foreign scientific and effective manner has become a top priority in the development of China’s insurance industry. This article will explore and study the present situation and problems of the Hunan Branch of China Life Property and Casualty Insurance marketing channel construction and channel construction strategy and implementation program.This paper first introduces the theory of marketing channels, analysis and discussion of the status of the current marketing channels of the Hunan Branch of China Life Property and Casualty Insurance with the causes of the current problems, and channel construction problems are analyzed. Analysis and comparison of successful experience in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Germany and other developed countries, insurance companies insurance marketing channel construction, draw inspiration marketing channel construction of the China Life Insurance Company of Hunan.
