In increasingly competitive era, for the modern enterprise there are a eternal topic that isto improve the level of logistics, reduce logistics costs, and improve the marketcompetitiveness. Based on the background of college catering, procurement and logisticsmanagement theory and related technology, the situation and the existing problems ofpurchasing management in GS university catering company were analyzed in this paper. Andthe purchasing procedure and cost were discussed to reduce the enterprise purchase cost andimprove the level of management.First of all, based on literature review, field investigation and the theory of purchasinglogistics management, the situation and the existing problems of purchasing management inGS University catering company were analyzed. The paper pointed out that GS Universitycatering company in the main problems include: procurement organizations is unreasonable,purchasing procedure and system is unreasonable; supplier selection and management is notscience; the purchase cost control method is not advanced, and so on.Secondly, aiming at the main problems of GS University catering company, the paperadopted the corresponding optimization measures: in the choice of procurement procedureoptimization, reengineered purchasing organization, optimized purchasing procedure; in thechoice of optimization and management of suppliers, used AHP to design the supplierevaluation index and weight, used the TOPSIS Method to evaluate existing suppliers, andselected a strategic partners supplier from the existing suppliers.Again, the analysis and measures of purchase cost management were discussed. Themeasures included: used activity based classification(ABC) method to control the purchasingcost; established information system of logistics management and cost control; specifiedsystems of purchasing management to control purchasing cost, and so on.Finally, the main conclusion and the prospect of the paper were given. so we hope thatthis studies can contribute to GS university catering logistics management.
