Since the end of19th century,5waves of Mergers and Acquisitions have merged successively in the world. The5th one, mainly characterized by building and enhancing the core competence of the corporation, has lasted up to now since the end of1990s. With the increasingly development of economy globalization and the constantly reinforcement of our country’s economic strength, the cross-border mergers and acquisitions by Chinese corporations have appeared a trend of rapid development. The dissertation firstly introduces the related theories of cross-border multinational mergers and acquisitions and core competence. Secondly it explains the present situation and issues of the cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions by Chinese corporations. Based on this, it analyses and studies the strategies of those cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions by Royal TenCate N. V. upon building and developing core competence. It lists the living examples of those mergers and acquisitions by TenCate from2007to2011. Also it evaluates the strategy implementation performance of them by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. Lastly according to the evaluation result, it proposes a number of enlightenments for the cross-border mergers and acquisitions by Chinese corporations. |
