For many years, executive pay has been a hot topic, and in after the financialcrisis, the society executive pay dispute increasingly fierce. Executives about internalsalary gap research at home and abroad, the overall, but also is just starting stage,most of them are to explore the influence factors of salary gap and the gap betweentheir pay and enterprise, the relationship between the performance of very few peoplebased on the perspective of executive power to pay gap were studied. So, this papermainly studies the pharmaceutical industry in the listed company executive power tocompany whether executive pay gap influence? Executives of state-owned holdingpower and private holding enterprise executive pay gap influence have why to differ?Through the empirical research, which will be in the future of our country of thesalary system reform play a certain reference.Based on the pharmaceutical industry listed companies as test samples, firstlyanalyzes China’s pharmaceutical industry listed company development and executivepay present situation, and then choose2009-2011deep Shanghai two city of a-sharelisted companies in the annual report of the disclosure of data, the use of executivepower theory to analyze the decisive factor of executive pay gap. In the empiricalanalysis, this paper SPSS17.0statistical software for data were analyzed by analysisof variance, the Pearson correlation analysis, linear regression analysis method arepresented to verify the hypothesis. Secondly, again for state-owned and privateholding enterprise ownership structure features of different, which verify the influenceof executive power size. The research in this paper is found that executive power toexecutive pay gap has influence and were positively correlated, namely executives thegreater the power, the greater the gap between executive pay. The results alsoconfirmed that the executive power and executive pay gap in private holdingenterprise performance in the more closely.At last, analyzed the executive power of state-owned holding and private holdingproduce different influence reasons, then puts forward the corresponding suggestion:further improve information disclosure platform; To strengthen the control ofshareholders to executive pay; Reasonable arrangement of enterprise executive paygap, promote the enterprise value.
