Research On Determinant And Current Situation For Transnational Management Of Chinese Large Commercial Banks

Chinese large commercial Banks should enhance multinational operation abilityto promote international economic status and provide enough financial support foroverseas enterprises. However, at present there are many problems exist in Chineselarge commercial banks. In this thesis, we take overseas assets of Chinese largecommercial banks as the point cut, building model based on Dunning’s eclectic theory,analyzing current situation and the main determinants of Chinese large commercialbanks transnational management. The paper firstly consider the influence raised bytheir self-operation, and then discuss domestic economic factors on their overseasexpansion, and finally take the experience on host countries of banking of UnitedStates and Japan as reference and analysis.According to research findings, overseas business experience and the domesticeconomy play a positive role in promoting the multinational business. Refer to thebanking experience of banking of United States and Japan, we can make a conclusionthat the host country which has high per capita GDP will have attraction to largecommercial banks. Therefore, to promote transnational lever of Chinese largecommercial banks, banks should strengthen the overseas business development, andtake advantage of financial reform and layout overseas branches reasonably, speed upthe establishment. At the same time, our country commercial banks take positiveadvantage of the developed countries and countries which have financial center.
