Although, in the past two years, mergers and acquisitions have been takenplace by Chinese enterprises all over the world, Chinese companies, who willcontinue to participate in cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the futureseem to lack of adequate psychological preparation of this merger on thebattlefield which refers to the psychological preparation of corporate cultureintegration after the cross-border M&A that Chinese companies overlook andtend to focus on asset and financial integration instead.In this paper, the author will analyze multiple factors of cross-bordermergers and acquisitions in corporate culture. First of all, expounds the effectof M&A to the enterprise and the special influence of cultural factors towardChina’s enterprises according to the current situation of Chinese enterprisestransnational mergers and acquisitions. Second, review the study of culturaldifferences theory, which explains why the cultural differences have animportant role in enterprise integration. Thirdly, discuss the differencesbetween Western and Chinese enterprise culture from national culture, businessculture and enterprise culture levels which including the core assumptionslayer, an intermediate layer and a surface layer. That multi-dimensionalanalysis can provide a clear understanding of the root causes of Westerncultural differences integrate and open the mind of proceeding cross-culturalbusiness model. Furthermore, raise corporate cross-cultural integration methods and ideas from analyzing combined cases, the national culture,business culture and corporate culture. By researching integration of thinkingpatterns from several companies, we can implement it in various contexts andother conditions. Hoping to give the enterprises a valuable role to archive moresuccessful when it comes to corporate cross-cultural integration.
