Increasingly along with the economic and financial globalization, and graduallydeepening institutional investors to participate in corporate governance, especially aseries of financial crises, the international community of commercial Banks corporategovernance issues have become increasingly attention. In recent years, largecommercial Banks in western countries are improving and strengthening corporategovernance, in order to we should institutionally ensure that they are in financialglobalization impregnable in the fierce competition. After the subprime mortgage crisisand European debt crisis, in order to prevent the financial crisis, to seek the stability ofthe international financial system, a number of international financial organizations inthe reflection on the previous financial policy, and that commercial bank as one of themost important link in the financial system, are in urgent need of improving corporategovernance structure, improve risk control ability.As an important industry, like for the banking industry to promote the economysteady and healthy development of the important tasks, and the bank risk is the biggestobstacle of restricting bank survival and development. Risk control is to take variousmeasures to control the uncertainty within a certain range, in order to avoid theincalculable harm from risk events occur. Must control risk for commercial Banks tocarry out the operation and management has always been, especially must pay attentionto the beforehand control of the risk, nip it in the bud. How to improve the bank’s riskcontrol ability is the reality of a challenging problem, not only has to be the concern ofthe bankers, economists and management experts currently one of the key researchtopic.To improve the corporate governance of commercial bank is the necessary way tooptimize equity structure. In this paper, the development of the present our country bankequity structure with the method of historical analysis process and reveals itsdevelopment trend, analysis with the method of contrast analysis our country bank inthe aspect of equity structure and risk control, verify with the method of empiricalanalysis of the correlation between ownership structure and risk control ability, fromtwo aspects of ownership concentration and equity attributes to reflect the equitystructure of commercial Banks in our country, with the "CAMEL"(CAMEL principle)of indicators to measure the bank’s risk control ability, in describing the characteristicsand status quo of Chinese commercial Banks, on the basis of combining the useful experience of developed countries, through the theoretical and empirical comprehensiveanalysis of the relationship between ownership structure and risk control, finally putsforward optimizing equity structure, the effective measures to strengthen the risk controlability.
